Saturday 19th May & a pair of Swifts have arrived.
They have been flying around over the garden for 5 minutes at a time, including zooming fairly close past the nest boxes, then leaving the area & coming back 20 or 30 minutes later.
Mid morning I witnessed mid-air copulation so this pair are clearly more than just good friends.
Fingers crossed that this is the year I have a pair actually nesting in one of my boxes.
